Ingredients

  • 2 whole lemons, preferably Meyer lemons
  • 2 sprigs of rosemary
  • 2 lemon slices, seeds removed
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • Kosher salt
  • 1.50 oz Bayou Silver Rum
  • Water
  • Ice

Instructions

  1. In a large pitcher, squeeze the juice of the lemons, removing any seeds.
  2. Add 1 sprig of rosemary and 1 slice of lemon to the pitcher.
  3. Add the sugar and fill the pitcher with water, then stir well.
  4. Let the mixture steep for 2 hours or overnight.
  5. Rub the rim of a tall glass with a lemon slice, then coat the rim with kosher salt.
  6. Fill the glass with ice, and add 1.5 ounces of Bayou Silver Rum.
  7. Fill the glass with the prepared lemonade mixture.
  8. Add 1 slice of lemon and 1 sprig of rosemary for garnish.
  9. Repeat for each cocktail.
