Ingredients
- 2 whole lemons, preferably Meyer lemons
- 2 sprigs of rosemary
- 2 lemon slices, seeds removed
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- Kosher salt
- 1.50 oz Bayou Silver Rum
- Water
- Ice
Instructions
- In a large pitcher, squeeze the juice of the lemons, removing any seeds.
- Add 1 sprig of rosemary and 1 slice of lemon to the pitcher.
- Add the sugar and fill the pitcher with water, then stir well.
- Let the mixture steep for 2 hours or overnight.
- Rub the rim of a tall glass with a lemon slice, then coat the rim with kosher salt.
- Fill the glass with ice, and add 1.5 ounces of Bayou Silver Rum.
- Fill the glass with the prepared lemonade mixture.
- Add 1 slice of lemon and 1 sprig of rosemary for garnish.
- Repeat for each cocktail.
