Ingredients

  • 1 medium mango, peeled, pitted, and chopped into large chunks
  • 1/2 cup ice
  • 1.50 oz tequila
  • 1 oz orange liqueur
  • 3/4 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon super fine sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon chile powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 lime wedge, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a blender, puree the mango until smooth.
  2. Add the ice, tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice, and super fine sugar to the blender and blend until smooth.
  3. Mix the chile powder and kosher salt on a small plate.
  4. Moisten the rim of a glass with the lime wedge.
  5. Dip the rim in the chile powder and twist to coat.
  6. Pour the mango margarita into the glass and serve with a wedge of lime.
