Ingredients

  • 2 oz brandy
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • 3/4 oz maple simple syrup (mix 1 part maple syrup with 1 part water)
  • 1/2 oz pasteurized egg white
  • 1 honey crisp apple slice (roughly 1/8 inch thin)
  • Bourbon (enough to coat the apple slice)
  • Maple syrup (enough to coat the apple slice)
  • Ice

Instructions

  1. Place the apple slice in a container and coat it with bourbon and maple syrup. Allow it to marinate for at least an hour or overnight.
  2. In a shaker, combine brandy, lemon juice, maple simple syrup, and egg white. Shake for 15 seconds.
  3. Add ice to the shaker and shake for another 10 seconds.
  4. Strain the mixture into a cocktail glass.
