Ingredients

  • 2 ounces brandy
  • 1 ounce lemon juice
  • 3/4 ounce maple simple syrup
  • 1/2 ounce pasteurized egg white
  • 1 honey crisp apple, roughly 1/8 inch thin slice
  • Bourbon, enough to coat the apple slice
  • Maple syrup, enough to coat the apple slice
  • Tupperware with lid
  • Shaker with strainer
  • Ice

Instructions

  1. Place the apple slice in a Tupperware and coat it with bourbon and maple syrup. Let it sit for at least an hour or overnight.
  2. In a shaker, combine brandy, lemon juice, maple simple syrup, and egg whites.
  3. Shake for 15 seconds, then add ice and shake for another 10 seconds.
  4. Strain into a cocktail glass.
  5. Lay the bourbon-marinated apple slice on top, and enjoy!
