Ingredients

  • 1 fresh large egg
  • 2 tablespoons fine sugar
  • 1/3 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons whole milk
  • 1/2 oz white rum
  • 1/2 oz bourbon
  • 1/8 teaspoon fresh nutmeg
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon
  • Cinnamon stick for garnish

Instructions

  1. Crack a fresh egg into a blender and blend on low speed for 30 seconds.
  2. While the blender is running, add sugar and blend for an additional 20 seconds.
  3. Turn off the blender and add the cream, milk, rum, bourbon, nutmeg, and cinnamon.
  4. Blend on medium speed until combined, about 10-15 seconds.
  5. Refrigerate the eggnog with the lid secured overnight or up to three days.
  6. When ready to serve, give the eggnog a quick blend for 10 seconds.
  7. Pour into a glass and garnish with a sprinkle of fresh nutmeg and a cinnamon stick.
