Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar (optional)
  • 3/4 tsp unflavored gelatin mix
  • 1/4 cup Midori
  • 1/4 cup sweet and sour mix
  • gummy candies (for decoration, optional)
  • sprinkles (for decoration, optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, bring water and sugar to a boil. Once boiling and sugar is dissolved, remove from heat.
  2. In a large bowl, pour in the boiled sugar-water and add unflavored gelatin. Whisk quickly until the gelatin is dissolved.
  3. Add chilled Midori and sweet and sour mix to the gelatin mixture and whisk quickly until combined. Optionally, add a few drops of green food coloring for a more vibrant color.
  4. Using a funnel or injector, pour the gelatin mixture into shot cups. Smooth or spoon out any bubbles that form on top. Fill cups almost to the top, leaving a small gap.
  5. Place the finished jello shots in the refrigerator and let them set for at least 1-2 hours.
  6. Garnish the tops of the Neon Melon Bites with gummy candies or sprinkles (both optional).
  7. Serve as desired.
