Nothing says it's officially the Christmas season like making a batch of famous Newfoundland Christmas Slush! A frosty blend of pineapple juice, citrus juices, vodka, and topped with a sweet, fizzy soda. It's as wonderful and refreshing as it sounds!
Newfoundland Frosty Slush
A frosty blend of pineapple juice, citrus juices, vodka, and topped with a sweet, fizzy soda. Perfect for the Christmas season!
Ingredients
- 2 fl. oz canned pineapple juice
- 1 fl. oz frozen canned orange juice (no pulp)
- Juice of 1 fresh lemon
- 4 fl. oz vodka
- 1.50 cups water
- 2 tbsp sugar
Instructions
- Combine pineapple juice, frozen orange juice, lemon juice, vodka, water, and sugar in a large container or bucket.
- Leave room for expansion as it freezes, then freeze for 24-48 hours.
- Use an ice cream scoop or large spoon to spoon out the slush.
- Fill each glass about 1/2 full of slush, then top it off with the soda.
- Enjoy!
