Ingredients

  • 3.40 oz Sanpellegrino Tonica Oakwood
  • 1.70 oz aged Gin or Genever
  • 0.70 oz simple syrup
  • 1 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  • 1 lemon wedge
  • 1 sprig of mint

Instructions

  1. Combine the aged gin (or genever), simple syrup, and fresh lemon juice in a highball glass, then stir to mix.
  2. Fill the glass with ice and pour in the Sanpellegrino Tonica Oakwood.
  3. Add two dashes of Angostura bitters on top of the drink.
  4. Garnish the cocktail by placing a lemon wedge on the rim of the glass.
  5. Finally, spank a mint sprig against the glass to release its aroma and place it next to the lemon wedge.
