Ingredients
- 1 oz bourbon
- 1 oz Cognac
- 1 oz aged rum
- 1/4 cup whole milk
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1.50 farm-fresh eggs
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- a pinch of salt
- a sprinkle of freshly grated nutmeg
Instructions
- Separate the eggs.
- Whisk the egg yolks and sugar together until they thicken and become pale in color.
- Slowly add the bourbon, Cognac, rum, milk, and cream while continuously whisking to incorporate air into the mixture.
- In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites and salt together until stiff peaks form.
