Ingredients

  • 1 oz cherry jello (or strawberry)
  • 1 oz berry blue jello (or blue raspberry)
  • 1/4 cup boiling water
  • 1/2 oz clear vodka
  • 1/2 oz cold water
  • 1/8 oz clear gelatin (half of a .25 oz packet of clear gelatin)
  • 1/2 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • Whipped cream
  • Red, white, and blue sprinkles

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the cherry jello with 1/4 cup of boiling water until fully dissolved.
  2. In a separate 2-cup measuring cup, combine 1/2 oz of vodka with 1/2 oz of cold water.
  3. Stir the cherry jello mixture into the vodka mixture.
  4. Pour the cherry mixture into shot glasses to fill the bottom 1/3.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to set.
  6. In a bowl, dissolve the clear gelatin in 1/4 cup of boiling water, then add 1/4 cup of cold water and the sweetened condensed milk.
  7. Pour the white mixture over the set cherry layer, filling the shot glasses to about 2/3 full.
  8. Refrigerate until set.
  9. Prepare the blue jello as before and pour over the white layer to fill the shot glasses.
  10. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours until set.
  11. Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with festive sprinkles just before serving.
