Ingredients
- 1.50 ounces Pistachio Cream Liqueur
- 1 ounce vanilla vodka
- 0.25 ounce Benedictine
- 4 drops hazelnut bitters
- Absinthe, for rinse or spray
Instructions
- If garnishing the coupe with pistachios, crush 10-20 pistachios into small bits and apply them to the rim of the coupe using chocolate sauce or honey.
- Chill the prepared coupe glass in the freezer or by filling it with ice while preparing the cocktail.
- In a cocktail shaker with ice, combine the pistachio liqueur, vanilla vodka, Benedictine, and hazelnut bitters. Shake vigorously for at least 30 seconds.
- Remove the chilled coupe from the freezer or discard the ice. Spray a mist of absinthe into the glass or coat the interior by pouring in a small amount of absinthe and swirling it around. Pour out any excess absinthe.
- Strain the cocktail from the shaker into the prepared coupe using a Hawthorne strainer. Garnish as desired and enjoy!
