Ingredients

  • 1.50 ounces Pistachio Cream Liqueur
  • 1 ounce vanilla vodka
  • 0.25 ounce Benedictine
  • 4 drops hazelnut bitters
  • Absinthe, for rinse or spray

Instructions

  1. If garnishing the coupe with pistachios, crush 10-20 pistachios into small bits and apply them to the rim of the coupe using chocolate sauce or honey.
  2. Chill the prepared coupe glass in the freezer or by filling it with ice while preparing the cocktail.
  3. In a cocktail shaker with ice, combine the pistachio liqueur, vanilla vodka, Benedictine, and hazelnut bitters. Shake vigorously for at least 30 seconds.
  4. Remove the chilled coupe from the freezer or discard the ice. Spray a mist of absinthe into the glass or coat the interior by pouring in a small amount of absinthe and swirling it around. Pour out any excess absinthe.
  5. Strain the cocktail from the shaker into the prepared coupe using a Hawthorne strainer. Garnish as desired and enjoy!
