Ingredients

  • 1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin puree
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 shot espresso (or 1/3 cup strong coffee)
  • Whipped cream for serving
  • 1/4 teaspoon chocolate extract (optional, for mocha version)
  • Chocolate sauce for glass (optional, for mocha version)

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the pumpkin pie spice, pumpkin puree, and honey. Cook while stirring until it begins to simmer, about 45 seconds.
  2. Stir in the milk and vanilla, then bring to a gentle simmer while stirring constantly.
  3. Use an immersion blender or carefully transfer the mixture to a blender and blend until frothy.
  4. Pour the espresso into a glass and add the frothy pumpkin latte mixture on top. Top with whipped cream and serve.
  5. For the mocha version, follow the same steps as above, adding the chocolate extract to the mixture and drizzling chocolate sauce in the glass before pouring the coffee and frothy latte mixture.
