Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound in-season fruits (such as green apple, lemon, and cucumber)
  • 3 oz triple sec
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1 bottle dry white wine
  • 1/2 cup lemon-lime soda

Instructions

  1. Wash and cut the in-season fruits into similar-sized cubes.
  2. Place the fruit in a 2-liter glass pitcher and add the sugar and triple sec.
  3. Stir with a long wooden spoon until the sugar dissolves, then mash the fruit with the spoon.
  4. Pour in the dry white wine and lemon-lime soda, and stir for at least 1 minute.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or ideally overnight.
  6. Serve the sangria chilled in a white wine glass over ice and use a spoon to place a small amount of wine-soaked fruit in each glass.
