Ingredients

  • 2 oz rye whiskey
  • 1 rock candy stick
  • 1 clove
  • 1/4 tsp horehound
  • 2 orange slices
  • 2 lemon slices
  • 1 dried apricot
  • 1 cinnamon stick

Instructions

  1. In a large container, combine the rye whiskey, rock candy, clove, and horehound.
  2. Allow the mixture to infuse in a cool, dark place for about three days.
  3. Add the orange slices, lemon slices, dried apricot, and cinnamon stick, and steep for an additional one to two days (or longer), according to taste.
  4. Once the whiskey has reached the desired flavor, strain out the fruits and spices, then bottle the infused whiskey.
  5. Serve and enjoy.
