Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon filtered water
- 1.50 rosemary sprigs (one for garnishing)
- 2 tablespoons gin (or omit)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (or lime juice)
- 6 ounces sparkling water (plain, lemon, or lime)
- ice for the shaker and glass (optional for glass)
- 1 piece lemon peel (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the rosemary syrup by boiling the maple syrup, water, and one rosemary sprig in a small pot for 90 seconds. Allow it to cool for a couple of minutes.
- In a shaker with ice, vigorously shake the gin, citrus juice, and rosemary syrup.
- If using, add ice to a glass, then strain the mixture from the shaker into the glass.
- Top with sparkling water and garnish with a lemon peel and a sprig of rosemary.
