Ingredients
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- a pinch of nutmeg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 tbsp heavy cream
- 1/4 cup RumChata
- Cinnamon sticks, for garnish
Instructions
- Combine cinnamon and sugar on a shallow plate to make the cinnamon-sugar rim.
- Moisten the rim of the glass with water and dip into the cinnamon sugar, then set aside.
- In a saucepan, whisk together egg yolks and sugar. Add milk, nutmeg, cinnamon, and vanilla, and heat on medium-low for about 10 minutes until the mixture thickens.
- Remove from heat, stir in heavy cream and RumChata, and refrigerate until chilled.
- When ready to serve, pour into the prepared glass, sprinkle with additional nutmeg, and garnish with cinnamon sticks.
