Ingredients

  • 4 ounces orange juice
  • 1 ounce lime juice
  • 1 1/2 ounces silver tequila
  • 1 ounce blue curacao
  • 1 maraschino cherry
  • 1 lime wedge

Instructions

  1. In a cocktail shaker, combine the orange juice and lime juice.
  2. Add a couple of ice cubes, and shake for about 10 seconds until chilled.
  3. Strain the mixture into a cocktail glass.
  4. In a separate glass, stir together the tequila and blue curacao.
  5. Slowly pour the tequila/blue curacao over the back of a bar spoon to create a float on top of the orange and lime juice mixture.
  6. Garnish the cocktail with a maraschino cherry or a lime wedge.
  7. Stir the cocktail slightly before enjoying.
