A refreshing and zesty cocktail with a perfect balance of sweet and spicy flavors, the Smoky Mango Sangrita Chiller is a delightful concoction of espadín mezcal, mango purée, yellow bell pepper juice, and a spicy salt rim.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 oz. espadín mezcal
- 1 oz. Rizzo Sangrita (mango purée, yellow bell pepper juice, lime juice, water, salt, pasilla Chile, white pepper, chile de arbol)
- 3/4 oz. fresh lime juice
- 1/2 oz. agave syrup (2:1 agave:water)
- Spicy salt rim (2:1:1 ratio of salt to sugar to ground chile pequin)
- Ice
Instructions
- Rim the glass with the spicy salt rim mixture and set aside.
- In a shaker tin, combine the espadín mezcal, Rizzo Sangrita, fresh lime juice, and agave syrup.
- Add ice to the shaker tin and shake until well chilled.
- Strain the mixture into the prepared glass over fresh ice.
- Garnish as desired.
