Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz. espadín mezcal
  • 1 oz. Rizzo Sangrita (mango purée, yellow bell pepper juice, lime juice, water, salt, pasilla Chile, white pepper, chile de arbol)
  • 3/4 oz. fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 oz. agave syrup (2:1 agave:water)
  • Spicy salt rim (2:1:1 ratio of salt to sugar to ground chile pequin)
  • Ice

Instructions

  1. Rim the glass with the spicy salt rim mixture and set aside.
  2. In a shaker tin, combine the espadín mezcal, Rizzo Sangrita, fresh lime juice, and agave syrup.
  3. Add ice to the shaker tin and shake until well chilled.
  4. Strain the mixture into the prepared glass over fresh ice.
  5. Garnish as desired.
