Ingredients

  • 3-4 oz freshly brewed coffee
  • 1.50 oz Mezcal
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar simple syrup
  • 1 dash Chocolate mole bitters (optional)
  • Ice
  • 1 dollop whipped cream

Instructions

  1. Brew a fresh pot of medium roast coffee and set aside 3-4oz to cool.
  2. Once the coffee has cooled, add it to a shaker.
  3. Pour in the mezcal, brown sugar simple syrup, and optionally, a dash of chocolate mole bitters.
  4. Add ice to the shaker.
  5. Vigorously shake until all the ingredients are fully combined.
  6. Strain the mixture into a glass, removing the ice.
  7. Adjust the taste with additional coffee or syrup if desired.
  8. Serve with a dollop of freshly whipped cream.
