Smoky Rosemary Mezcal Paloma
A refreshing and complex mezcal cocktail with smoky, sweet, and tangy flavors, finished with a hint of bitterness and a touch of smoky rosemary.
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp coarse pink salt
- 2 oz Mezcal
- 1.50 oz pink grapefruit juice (freshly-squeezed)
- 1 oz lime juice (freshly-squeezed)
- 1 oz simple syrup
- 1 tbsp Aperol
- 1 sprig fresh rosemary
Instructions
- Rub the rim of the glass with grapefruit juice and dip it into the salt, pressing gently to coat the rim.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine mezcal, grapefruit juice, lime juice, sugar syrup, and Aperol.
- Fill the shaker with ice, seal, and shake vigorously for about 20 seconds.
- Strain the cocktail into a chilled glass.
- Light the sprig of rosemary and then immediately extinguish. Place it in the glass while still smoking.
