Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup boiling water
  • 1/4 package strawberry Jell-O
  • 1/4 package orange Jell-O
  • 1/4 package lime Jell-O
  • 1/4 package berry blue Jell-O
  • 1/4 package lemon Jell-O
  • 1/2 cup vodka
  • 2 Sour Patch Kids (1 of each color)
  • Cool Whip, for topping
  • Red, orange, green, blue, and yellow sanding sugar

Instructions

  1. Place two different colored Sour Patch Kids in each shot glass.
  2. In a measuring cup, stir in strawberry Jell-O with 1/2 cup boiling water until dissolved. Whisk in 1/2 cup vodka, then pour into shot glasses with red Sour Patch Kids.
  3. Repeat the process for orange, lime, berry blue, and lemon Jell-O, using boiling water and vodka for each flavor.
  4. Refrigerate the shot glasses until the Jell-O is set, approximately 2 hours.
  5. Before serving, top each shot with a dollop of Cool Whip, one Sour Patch Kid, and a sprinkle of colored sanding sugar.
