Spiced Vanilla Buttered Rum

Ingredients
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp ground cloves
- 1 tsp ground nutmeg

- Pinch of salt
- 2 oz dark or aged rum
- 6 oz hot water
- Cinnamon stick, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, blend the butter, vanilla extract, brown sugar, spices, and salt until well combined.
- In a heat-proof glass or mug, combine the aged rum with 2 tablespoons of the spiced butter mixture.
