Ingredients

  • Chili Lime Salt
  • 1/2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon coarse Kosher salt
  • A pinch of chili powder
  • Zest from 1/2 lime
  • 1 lime slice
  • Paloma
  • 1/2 cup fresh grapefruit juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 2 ounces tequila
  • 1/2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/4 cup sparkling water or soda water
  • 1 grapefruit and lime wedge

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar, salt, chili powder, and lime zest on a small plate.
  2. Run the lime wedge around the rim of a glass and dip it into the salt blend. Fill the glass with crushed ice.
  3. In a shaker, mix the grapefruit juice, lime juice, tequila, and sugar until well combined.
  4. Pour the mixture over the crushed ice in the glass.
  5. Top the cocktail with sparkling water and garnish with a grapefruit and lime wedge.
