Ingredients
- 3 chunks fresh Pineapple (1" cubes)
- 1-2 slices fresh Jalapeno
- a tiny pinch Sea Salt
- 2 oz. Tequila (silver or reposado)
- 1 oz. Pineapple Juice
- 1 oz. fresh Lime Juice
- 0.50 oz. Triple Sec
- 0.50 tsp. Agave Syrup
- 0.50 tsp. Sugar
- 0.25 tsp. Sea Salt
- 0.12 tsp. Chili Powder
- 0.12 tsp. freshly cracked Black Pepper
Instructions
- In a cocktail shaker, muddle the fresh pineapple chunks, jalapeno slices, and a tiny pinch of sea salt until the pineapple is broken down (about 20-30 seconds).
- Pour in tequila, pineapple juice, lime juice, triple sec, and agave syrup.
- Fill the shaker with ice, secure the lid, and shake vigorously for about 20 seconds.
- Stir the rim ingredients together in a shallow bowl or on a small plate. Run a pineapple wedge (or lime wedge) over the rim of a glass, and dip it into the rim mix. Shake off any excess and fill the glass with ice.
- Strain the margarita into the glass, and garnish with a fresh pineapple chunk and pineapple leaf.
