Ingredients

  • Bloody Mary salt, for rim
  • 2 oz zero-proof spirit OR brine from olives or pickles (optional)
  • 4 oz tomato juice
  • 0.50 oz lemon juice
  • 0.50 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 to 4 dashes hot sauce
  • 0.50 tsp horseradish
  • 0.50 tsp celery salt
  • 0.50 tsp sea salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • garnishes such as a celery stick, olives, and bacon

Instructions

  1. Spread Bloody Mary rim salt on a plate and rim the glass by rubbing a lime wedge around the edge and rolling it in the salt.
  2. Add ice cubes to the prepared glass.
  3. In a cocktail shaker with ice, combine the zero-proof spirit or brine alternative, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, celery salt, sea salt, black pepper, and horseradish.
  4. Shake well and pour the mixture into the prepared glass.
