Ingredients

  • Black gel frosting
  • 2 oz lemon flavored vodka (substitute lemonade for mocktail)
  • 1/4 oz triple sec (leave out for mocktail)
  • 2 oz blood orange juice or soda
  • Black sewing thread
  • Edible glue
  • Plastic spider

Instructions

  1. Draw a spider web on the inside of a martini glass with the black gel frosting and freeze for 30 minutes.
  2. Fill a martini shaker with ice and add the vodka, triple sec, and blood orange juice.
  3. Shake the mixture for 10 seconds.
  4. Strain the cocktail into the prepared martini glass.
  5. Create the hanging spider by using edible glue to attach black sewing thread to the plastic spider, then secure the other end to the edge of the glass, close to the web.
