Ingredients
- 1 Apricot (fresh or frozen)
- 2 oz Bourbon
- 1 oz Aperol Orange Liqueur
- 1/2 - 1 oz Simple Syrup (depending on the sweetness of the fruit)
- Juice of 1/2 Lemon
- 1 Mint Sprig
- 1 Lemon Slice
- 2 Slices Fresh Apricot
- Ice
Instructions
- Slice the apricot in half and remove the stone, then slice each half into 6-8 slices.
- Taste a slice of the apricot to determine the amount of simple syrup needed.
- Reserve 2 slices for garnish.
- Place the remaining apricot slices into a tall glass and add the bourbon, Aperol, and simple syrup, then muddle the mixture well.
- Add ice to a cocktail shaker, then strain the muddled liquor into it, cover, and shake well.
- Strain the mixture into a tumbler over ice.
- Garnish with apricot slices, a lemon slice, and a mint sprig.
