Ingredients
- 2 oz strawberries, sliced
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3 tablespoons tequila
- 1/2 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
- 1/2 cup grapefruit soda

- In a saucepan, combine the sliced strawberries, water, and sugar. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Reduce the heat to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes until the liquid turns dark red.
- Strain the syrup into a bowl, allowing it to cool.
