Ingredients
- 1/2 apricot (from canned with juices, diced)
- 1 oz apricot juice (from the can)
- 2 to 3 fresh basil leaves (plus more for garnish)
- 1 oz orange liqueur (triple sec, Cointreau, Gran Marnier)
- 4 oz wine (sparkling, ramato or white wine)
Instructions
- In a cocktail shaker or small pitcher, muddle the diced apricot half, 1 oz of canned juice, and 2 to 3 basil leaves.
- Add 1 oz orange liqueur and 4 oz of wine, then stir to combine.
- Place a few ice cubes in a wine glass and add the remaining diced apricot half to the glass.
- Pour the sangria over the ice and garnish with a sprig of basil or a basil leaf.
