Ingredients

  • 2 fl ounces White rum
  • 1/2 fl ounce orange curaçao
  • 3/4 fl ounces Lime juice
  • 1/4 fl ounces orgeat syrup
  • 1/4 fl ounces Rich simple syrup
  • Spent lime shells
  • Fresh mint sprigs

Instructions

  1. Fill a rocks glass halfway with crushed ice.
  2. In a cocktail shaker filled halfway with crushed ice, combine the white rum, orange curaçao, lime juice, orgeat syrup, and rich simple syrup.
  3. Shake the ingredients vigorously, then pour the Mai Tai into the rocks glass. Add the ice from the shaker into the glass.
  4. Garnish the cocktail with a spent lime shell and a sprig of mint.
