Ingredients
- 1 cup full-fat coconut milk
- 1/4 cup cream of coconut
- 1/4 cup evaporated milk
- 2 tbsp sweetened condensed milk
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- Pinch of salt
- 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 2 oz Puerto Rican rum
- Cinnamon sugar and cinnamon stick for garnish
Instructions
- In a large container, combine the coconut milk, cream of coconut, evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk, ground cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and vanilla extract.
- Mix thoroughly to ensure all ingredients are well combined.
- Add the Puerto Rican rum to the mixture and stir well.
- Strain the liquid using a fine mesh strainer to remove any clumps of cinnamon or nutmeg.
- Refrigerate the coquito for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, before serving.
- When ready to serve, garnish the glass with a cinnamon sugar rim and a cinnamon stick.
