Ingredients

  • 1.50 oz. aged Jamaican rum
  • 0.50 oz. fresh lime juice
  • 3/8 oz. rich demerara syrup (2:1)
  • 1/4 oz. allspice liqueur
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  • 12 oz. crushed ice
  • 4-6 ice cubes

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the aged Jamaican rum, fresh lime juice, rich demerara syrup, allspice liqueur, Angostura bitters, and crushed ice.
  2. Blend for 3-4 seconds until slushy.
  3. Using a strainer, pour the liquid and slushy ice into a Collins glass while holding back the bigger ice chunks.
  4. Garnish as desired.
