A tropical and spiced twist on the classic Planter's Punch, perfect for a refreshing party drink.
Ingredients
- 1.50 oz. aged Jamaican rum
- 0.50 oz. fresh lime juice
- 3/8 oz. rich demerara syrup (2:1)
- 1/4 oz. allspice liqueur
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- 12 oz. crushed ice
- 4-6 ice cubes
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the aged Jamaican rum, fresh lime juice, rich demerara syrup, allspice liqueur, Angostura bitters, and crushed ice.
- Blend for 3-4 seconds until slushy.
- Using a strainer, pour the liquid and slushy ice into a Collins glass while holding back the bigger ice chunks.
- Garnish as desired.
