Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz AOC Martinique rhum agricole vieux
  • 1/2 oz blended aged rum
  • 1/4 oz John D. Taylor's Velvet Falernum
  • 1/4 oz St. Elizabeth allspice dram
  • 1/2 oz honey syrup
  • 1/2 oz lime juice
  • 1/2 oz orange juice
  • 1 dash Angostura bitters
  • 3 maraschino cherries on a cocktail pick and 1 pineapple frond, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine the rhum agricole, blended rum, falernum, allspice dram, honey syrup, lime juice, orange juice, and bitters in a drink mixer tin.
  2. Add 12 ounces of crushed ice and 4 to 6 small "agitator" cubes.
  3. Flash-blend the mixture.
  4. Pour the cocktail into a footed pilsner glass, straining out any large ice chunks.
  5. Garnish with three cherries on a cocktail pick and a pineapple frond.
