Ingredients

  • 1 oz light rum
  • 1 oz dark rum
  • 1 oz unsweetened coconut cream
  • 1 1/4 oz pineapple juice
  • 3/4 oz simple syrup (1:1 ratio, sugar to water)
  • 1 dash Angostura bitters
  • 4 strawberries, sliced

Instructions

  1. In a hurricane glass, muddle the sliced strawberries with a few drops of simple syrup.
  2. Fill the glass with crushed ice.
  3. In a cocktail shaker, combine the light rum, dark rum, unsweetened coconut cream, pineapple juice, simple syrup, and a dash of Angostura bitters.
  4. Add ice to the shaker and shake until well chilled.
  5. Strain the cocktail into the hurricane glass over the crushed ice.
  6. Add more crushed ice to fill the glass and garnish with a slice of strawberry.
