Ingredients

  • 1 mango, peeled, pitted, and diced
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • Ice
  • 1/2 cup guava nectar
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 oz liquor of choice (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon grenadine
  • Fresh mint, for garnish
  • Maraschino cherry, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a blender, blend the mango and water until smooth.
  2. Fill a highball glass with ice.
  3. Pour the guava nectar and lime juice into the glass.
  4. Add the liquor of choice, if using.
  5. Slowly pour the grenadine syrup into the glass and let it settle at the bottom.
  6. Gently spoon the mango purée on top of the drink.
  7. Garnish with a maraschino cherry and a sprig of mint.
