Uruguayan Sunshine Sangria
Uruguayan Sunshine Sangria is a delightful blend of in-season fruits, triple sec, dry white wine, and lemon-lime soda, creating a refreshing and colorful drink that's perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 1/2 pound in-season fruits (such as green apple, lemon, and cucumber)
- 3 oz triple sec
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1 bottle (750 ml) dry white wine
- 1/2 cup lemon-lime soda
Instructions
- Wash and cut all the fruits into similar-sized cubes.
- Place the fruit in a 2-liter glass pitcher and add the sugar and triple sec.
- Stir with a long wooden spoon until the sugar dissolves, then mash the fruit lightly with the spoon.
- Pour in the white wine and lemon-lime soda, and stir the mixture for at least 1 minute.
- Refrigerate the sangria for at least 2 hours, or ideally overnight.
- Serve the sangria chilled in a white wine glass over ice, and use a spoon to place a small amount of the wine-soaked fruit in each glass.
