- 2 ounces vodka
- 2 ounces pink cranberry juice cocktail
- 1 ounce black cherry juice
- 1 ounce grenadine
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- Candied blood (for rim)
- Vampire teeth (for garnish)
- 2 tablespoons black cherry juice
- 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
- 10 drops red food coloring
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, heat light corn syrup and black cherry juice over medium-high heat, stirring to mix.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring continuously. Allow it to cool to room temperature.
- Add red food coloring and stir to combine, creating a highly viscous "blood" for the rim of the glass.
- Using a spoon, carefully coat the rim of the glass with the candied blood, allowing it to drip for a spooky effect.
- In a tall glass or cocktail shaker, combine ice, vodka, pink cranberry juice, black cherry juice, grenadine, and lime juice. Stir or shake for about 20 seconds.
- Strain the mixture into the prepared cocktail glass and garnish with plastic vampire teeth.
