Ingredients

  • Ice
  • 2 ounces vodka
  • 2 ounces pink cranberry juice cocktail
  • 1 ounce black cherry juice
  • 1 ounce grenadine
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • Candied blood (for rim)
  • Vampire teeth (for garnish)
  • 2 tablespoons black cherry juice
  • 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
  • 10 drops red food coloring

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, heat light corn syrup and black cherry juice over medium-high heat, stirring to mix.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring continuously. Allow it to cool to room temperature.
  3. Add red food coloring and stir to combine, creating a highly viscous "blood" for the rim of the glass.
  4. Using a spoon, carefully coat the rim of the glass with the candied blood, allowing it to drip for a spooky effect.
  5. In a tall glass or cocktail shaker, combine ice, vodka, pink cranberry juice, black cherry juice, grenadine, and lime juice. Stir or shake for about 20 seconds.
  6. Strain the mixture into the prepared cocktail glass and garnish with plastic vampire teeth.
