Ingredients

  • 1 oz freshly brewed espresso
  • 1 oz coffee liqueur
  • 1.50 oz vodka
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup
  • 1/2 oz Canadian heavy cream
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon (for garnish)
  • 3 coffee beans (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Brew a shot of espresso and let it cool in a separate container. Using hot espresso can dilute the drink when it melts the ice cubes.
  2. In a cocktail shaker, combine the coffee liqueur, vodka, simple syrup, cooled espresso, and heavy cream.
  3. Add ice cubes to the shaker and vigorously shake for 20 seconds until it becomes thoroughly chilled.
  4. Pour the mixture into a martini glass.
  5. Use a mini sifter to sprinkle cinnamon on top of the martini, if desired.
  6. Finish by garnishing the glass with three coffee beans.
  7. Enjoy your martini!
