Violet Dreams {Lavender Coconut Sour}
A delightful blend of floral lavender, tropical coconut, and zesty lemon, topped with a frothy egg white foam.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 3 tablespoons dried lavender flowers
- 1/2 oz lavender simple syrup
- 1 1/2 oz Absolut Elyx
- 1 oz coconut water
- 1/2 egg white
- 1/2 oz lemon juice
Instructions
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar, water, and lavender. Let it come to a boil, then reduce heat to low and let it simmer for 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly before draining through a sieve to remove lavender buds.
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, then pour in 1/2 oz of the lavender simple syrup, along with Absolut Elyx, coconut water, egg white, and lemon juice.
- Shake until frothy, then pour into a coupe glass.
- Top with edible flowers or more dried lavender.
