Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon Water
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 2 slices Lemon peel
  • 1 Lemon wedge
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 2 fl oz Vodka, very cold
  • Soda water as needed
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine water, sugar, lemon peel, and lemon juice. Heat on low until it reaches a syrup consistency, then let it cool.
  2. Place a lemon wedge in a glass, add vodka, and 1 tablespoon of the prepared syrup. Gently mix.
