Ingredients

  • 4 oz. Rosé Wine
  • 1 cup Watermelon Cubes, seedless
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Water

Instructions

  1. Pour the rosé wine into ice cube trays and freeze until solid, at least 6 hours, until it reaches a slushy consistency.
  2. Cube the watermelon and freeze on a parchment paper-lined sheet pan until firm, for at least 4 hours.
  3. Once the wine and watermelon cubes are frozen, transfer them to a plastic bag and freeze for up to a month.
  4. Create the simple syrup by combining sugar and water, heating them on the stovetop or in the microwave until the sugar dissolves.
  5. When ready to serve, transfer the frozen wine and watermelon to a blender and blend until smooth, allowing them to defrost at room temperature for a few minutes if necessary.
  6. Gradually add the simple syrup while tasting, adjusting the sweetness based on the natural sweetness of the wine and fruit.
