Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 0.30 oz Irish whiskey
  • 1/2 green apple
  • 1 peach
  • 2-3 mint leaves
  • 3 oz white wine (e.g., moscato)
  • 2 oz soda water/sparkling water (approx)

Instructions

  1. In a jug, mix together the sugar and whiskey, using a little wine to help the sugar dissolve.
  2. Thinly slice the apple and peach, and roughly chop the mint, then add them to the jug.
  3. Top up the jug with the remaining wine and chill for at least an hour or overnight.
  4. When ready to serve, spoon some of the fruit into a glass and fill it around 3/4 full with the wine blend.
  5. Top up the glass with soda water or sparkling water.
  6. Adjust sugar based on the sweetness of the wine used.
  7. For a stronger flavor, add more whiskey, or incorporate a little apple juice for an enhanced apple taste.
