Ingredients

  • 5 oz dry red wine (like merlot, zinfandel, or garnacha)
  • 1/2 oz brandy (or orange liquor)
  • 1/4 of an orange (sliced)
  • 2 tsp sweetener (like honey, maple syrup, or sugar)
  • 2 whole cloves
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 star anise

Instructions

  1. In a small pot, combine the red wine, brandy, sliced orange, sweetener, cloves, cinnamon stick, and star anise.
