Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons (1 oz) flavored butterscotch syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 drops yellow food coloring
  • 1 small drop brown food coloring
  • 1 cup (8 oz) soda water
  • 2 tablespoons (1 oz) heavy cream, whipped until slightly thick

Instructions

  1. In a mug or glass, stir together the butterscotch syrup, vanilla extract, yellow and brown food coloring, and a splash of soda water.
  2. (Optional) For a spiked variation, add 1 oz añejo rum.
  3. Top with the remaining soda water.
  4. Carefully pour the thickened cream across the top.
