Ingredients

  • 2 oz Blanco Tequila
  • 1 oz Cointreau (triple sec)
  • 1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • Salt for rim of glass (optional, use a coarse salt like kosher salt)
  • 3-4 Lime slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. If using salt, rim a classic Margarita or rocks glass by running a lime wedge around the edge and then dipping it in salt.
  2. Fill the glass with ice cubes and set it aside.
  3. In a cocktail shaker with ice, add tequila, triple sec, and lime juice.
  4. Shake well and double-strain into the prepared cocktail glass with salt rim.
  5. Garnish with lime wheel.
